Dr. Massey participated in the 2019 edition of Total Woman Summit entitled SOAR. She guided the women on the importance of being their own pilot and the proper placement of their baggage.

In the month of August, Dr. Massey facilitated sessions on mental health and family at the weekly conference hosted Holy Nation Church of Memphis.

Peace, Love, and Yoga invited Dr. Massey to participate in a Yoga and Motivation session on mental health. Dr. Massey spoke on the difference between mental health and mental illness before joining in on a restorative yoga session. Mind and body together!

The Bev Johnson show welcomed Dr. Massey, Board Member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Mid-South and the agency’s Executive Director, Susan George, to discuss the importance of mentoring, the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters, and ways the community can support the agency’s efforts.

As her placement with the Junior League of Memphis, Dr. Massey volunteered as a camper “buddy” at this three day grief camp for

youth ages 6-12 hosted annually by the Baptist Centers for Good Grief.

Summer Institute 2019 Southwest Tennessee Community College (STCC). Dr. Massey presented a day long workshop for this faculty and staff conference of STCC on emotional intelligence.

Dr. Massey participated in the 5K run to raise funds to support the community service projects of the Junior League of Memphis.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Mid-South (BBBS) partnered with Comcast to raise funds for BBBS and complete a park safety project.

Hosted by Holy Nation Church of Memphis; Dr. Massey facilitated a break-out session addressing Psychology and the Church.

Memphis Women’s Summit hosted by the Junior League of Memphis. Dr. Massey and co-facilitator Dr. Audrey Towsel provided the women practical applications from the topic “How to Balance When Life 

Comes at You Fast."

Dr. Massey was the keynote speaker for this women’s retreat hosted by Independents Fellowship International. Dr. Massey took the Women on a journey through the process of becoming.

This awesome event Benefited Special Olympics. In honor of her son, Dr. Massey and family hosted a fundraising team and took the plunge!

Dr. Massey was appointed as the instructor of the Biblical Counseling course for i.f.i's Vision School. participants received their certifications at their completion ceremony in July.
